Why Spectral exists
Most tipsters are black boxes. They show you the result but never the working. You're expected to trust the record without understanding why a pick was made or how the model performs across different conditions.
Spectral was built to be the opposite: full transparency, honest about losses as well as wins. When a league underperforms, we say so. When the model gets it wrong, we publish it alongside the wins.
The name reflects the approach — analysing the full spectrum of data to find genuine statistical edges.
The approach
Statistical rigour over gut feel
Every pick is driven by model output, not intuition. The numbers make the decisions.
Transparency over secrecy
Methodology, calibration curves, and performance metrics are published openly. Nothing is hidden.
Long-term edge over short-term streaks
Value betting is a long game. We optimise for sustained positive expected value, not flashy winning runs.
Honest about what works and what doesn't
Some leagues perform better than others. Some months are losing months. We show all of it.
An open record
Every pick is timestamped before kick-off. Free picks publish on the site. Paid picks go to subscribers in the dashboard and via Telegram. After settlement, every pick of every tier is counted in the public track record, wins and losses both. Nothing is edited after the event.
The full record — wins, losses, returns, and settled sample sizes — is published on the track record page and updated automatically as fixtures settle.
